How lucky are we to live in New England! I wake up every day feeling so blessed that we have it all here! Beautiful, sunny,  ocean front summers, foliage to die for falls, and glorious breathtaking winters with mother nature at her best. I wouldn't trade this for the world! I love to collect and burn beautiful high end candles all over my home. No matter what time of year, candles offer such warmth and glow to the home. When the wax runs out, I do not throw away the glass candle holders. Instead, I fill them with beautiful flowers. You will find these all over my home and I am working on starting a trend with a major candle company to market the candles with Patty P in mind....I think it is a glamorous idea all my own!

I went to an estate sale in Marblehead run by my friend Brenda last Saturday. I managed to pick up this little beauty. From there I walked over to Cest La Vie to pick out a modern shade from Cassandra. Well, I started a trend.....people followed me over with their lamps and bought shades on my recommendation. I told them that combining old with new creates a special look all my own. I love coming up with new ideas ! I do this all for you, my faithful followers! Enjoy!
