SOMEONE'S IN THE KITCHEN WITH DINAH, SOMEONE'S IN THE KITCHEN I KNOW. IT'S PATTY P WHO IS IN THE KITCHEN!!

Hello to my followers and friends of Patty P Here!! As most of you know, i am a master chef along with my other talents for fashion and other interests! Today, i am going to let go of one of my favorite own recipes of Patty P to my followers. I am in Florida with my family this week, so on my last day, i offered to cook my latest creation for the ones i love......
Here is the recipe for the delicious meal shown here in my pictures....
1 lb of whole wheat spaghetti,
2 bunches of fresh broccoli rabe chopped without stems
1 can of white cannellini beans
4 cloves of fresh chopped garlic chopped
6 heads of fresh sun dried tomatoes chopped
1 cup of chicken broth
1/2 cup of pasta water
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 stick of butter
kosher salt
red hot pepper flakes

Chop the broccoli rabe into bite sized pieces, chop the garlic heads into minced pieces.....open a can and drain a can of the cannellini beans, chop the sun dried tomatoes into small pieces.  put a full cup of extra virgin olive oil into a large skillet pan and heat to medium, add the garlic, broccoli rabe and sun dried tomatoes, and canellini  beans and saute to a medium softness with some crispness.
in the mean time, bring a full quart of water to a boil with a tlb of kosher salt in the water, add the whole wheat pasta to cook for 10 minutes,
when the pasta is almost finished, add about 1 cup of the pasta water to the broccoli rabe mixture, add the butter and the chicken broth and the 1/2 cup of cream, bring to a simmer, add the drained pasta and toss immediately, add some  fresh romano cheese on top and serve immediately!!
Enjoy the latest Patty P here's gourmet delight!!
My own creation!

I love antiques and old paintings and furniture. i was born and raised in marblehead ma, I can trace my ancestors in Marblehead back to 1850. I love things that are old and i had a true learning and appreciation  of old things from my up bringing in marblehead, a true historic town. It wasn't until I traveled to europe in the late 80's did i realize that we live in an old, old, world, with lots of beautiful things from the past. Followers of PATTY P HERE know i have a passion for American Portraiture from the 18th and 19th century. I am always on the lookout for beautiful old things from the past.... Posted here is my new mission, to find a perfect bust for both my home, and my garden.  As you can see....I have looked at the best, but, i have also found that beauty is also found in ones own backyard........ The last picture says it all......
The perfect bust, in someone's own backyard in my home town....

WELCOME HOME DIANA, GODDESS OF THE HUNT....WE ARE SO HAPPY TO HAVE YOU LIVING WITH US!

Skinner Auction House had their winter auction last week, featuring American & European works of art from the 18TH AND 19TH centuries.  I had my eye on this beautiful piece of art which is French School, named Portrait of a Gentlewoman as Diana, Goddess Of The Hunt. I had some fierce competition while bidding for this piece, but i ended up winning! I went into Boston today to pick her up from Skinner's Auction House. They were all so helpful and happy to see that diana has found a wonderful home with Patty p, who will love her til the day i die! Shown in the first photo is a floral arrangement made by Skinner Art Appraiser Kathy Wong. She made these arrangements for the presentation and interpretation of the artwork. they were later sold and all the proceeds went to the Boston Public Library.  My painting shown here in the pictures, is 18th century French School, and is a beautiful interpretation of Diana,  Goddess of The Hunt.
For your enjoyment......

THINKING OF SOMEONE SPECIAL FOR NO SPECIAL REASON......

Piked up these adorable necklaces today on my travels through the beautiful town of Marblehead, my home town. They are handmade by an artist from Salem Ma who makes these out of vintage scrabble tiles. They are embossed with french themes which are colorful and sparkly. The tiles are hung on either a small beaded neck chain, or delicate ribbon. Perfect for someone special , or special for no one special....
Picked them up at the Paris Flea Market on Washington ST Marblehead, ma.
The little French girl's hometown.

MIUCCIA PRADA KNOWS HOW TO SIT BACK AND SMELL THE ROSES....THE NEW PRADA SPRING 2012 JEWELRY COLLECTION!

This past fall, the top designers showed their collections for spring/summer 2012. The Italian company  Prada launched a new jewelry collection to go with their beautiful floral clothing designs. The pieces shown here, all carry the floral leifmotif  and are crafted from materials including resin, rhinestones, and Swarovski crystals, perfect for those floral spring fashions. prices start at $350.00 US and run on up to over $3,000.00 for the more intricate pieces. The pieces shown here in the first 10 photos are from the Prada collection. PATTY P  found some of her own pieces from a vintage site shown here in the last two photos....a vintage , resin and crystal bracelet from the 40's for $ 55.00 and a floral, resin, rose  set in a flexible brass ring for $8.00 from a site on etsy. PATTY P  likes to look around and see what she can find for her followers in a much better price range, as long as the look is the same! I will be wearing my floral pieces this spring with all those floral spring fashions!
Mission accomplished!
