BUT THERE YOU STAND, READY TO FIGHT..AND THERE YOU ARE PREPARED TO DIE..FOR ME.

THE GRAVE OF MY GREAT, GREAT, GREAT GRANDFATHER EDWARD W. FARRELL IN THE GAR CEMETERY , MARBLEHEAD WATERSIDE. HE SERVED FROM 1861-1864. TAKEN AS A PRISONER IN THE FIRST BATTLE OF WINCHESTER, SPENT 2 YEARS IN A PRISON CAMP AND MANAGED TO SURVIVE AND COME BACK TO MARBLEHEAD...THANK YOU GRANDPA...YOU ARE A WAR HERO.

Thank you to all the vets who fought from my hometown of Marblehead, and to all the Vets who fought for this Great Country. We will never forget you...ever.
